Robert Walker is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various technical leadership roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Siteimprove, Robert has also led software development projects at Studio Atma, including the indie JRPG-style game Gravastar, developed in Unity and C#. Previously, as a Lead Member of Technical Staff at Tableau, Robert designed migration strategies from legacy systems to microservices and mentored developers. With a strong background at Expedia Group as a Senior Software Engineer, Robert contributed to cloud migration initiatives and automated testing frameworks. Early career roles at Microsoft involved test automation and operational support, while positions at Logical, Premiere Conferencing, and Steck-Vaughn focused on e-commerce infrastructure and network administration. Robert holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
