Alana MacKey

Alana Mackey is a highly experienced design professional with a robust background in interior and lighting design. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Studio McGee since April 2020, Alana has held various roles including Lead Designer and Junior Designer within the same company. Prior to this, Alana worked as an Interior Designer at GATH Interior Design and served as a Professor of Interior Design at Bellevue College. Alana began a career in lighting design with positions at NBBJ Design and HLB Lighting Design, and initiated the design journey as an Interior Design Intern at Franklin Interiors. Academically, Alana earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on Lighting Design from Penn State University and holds a minor in Architectural Studies from The Pantheon Institute.
