Studio Noir utilizes over 36 years of musical wisdom and experience thanks to founder and director Benjamin “Benoir” Metzger.  He is a guru to many, from young to old, often discovering new artists and guiding them towards stages and networking them with celebrity artists if pursuing a professional career. His students have received full scholarships to Berklee School Of Music, Acceptance to LaGuardia H.S. Of the Arts, received invitations to appear on NBC The Voice, high scores at NYSSMA across the board with various instruments (Piano, voice, flute, saxophone, clarinet, viola, violin, guitar, snare drum) and plenty of recognition by music industry professionals including Bakithi Kumalo and Darryl Mac of Run D.M.C.
