Robert Wessel is a Senior Strategist at Studio Science, specializing in people-centered design research. They have strong skills in design thinking, design leadership, visual sensemaking, design facilitation, and ethnography. Previously, Robert worked as an Imagery Analyst at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from 2006 to 2014, where they analyzed imagery and collaborated with Intelligence Community partners. Robert also served as a Graduate Research Fellow at Herron School of Art and Design in 2015, developing design thinking workshop proposals and curricula. They hold an MFA in Visual Communication Design from IUPUI and have additional degrees in Arabic Language and Studio Art.
