Kenton Prindle

Kenton Prindle has worked in the geoscience and data science fields for over 20 years. In 2021, they began working as the Head of Data Science and Geoscience at Studio X. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Geophysical ML Engineer at X, the moonshot factory. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Geophysical Machine Learning Engineer at Google. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Senior Geophysicist - Geoscience Technology at Woodside Energy. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Senior Geophysicist - Exploration and Production Technology at Hess Corporation. From 2000 to 2007, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, where they performed teleseismic surface wave analysis and inversion, including azimuthal anisotropic derivation for a seismic array in Southern California and built course work and taught upper division geophysics classes.

Kenton Prindle attained a Ph.D in Geophysics from UC Santa Barbara in 2006 and a Bachelors of Science in Geophysics from UC Santa Barbara in 2001.
