Max Gray

Max Gray has worked in the energy industry since 2000, beginning their career at ExxonMobil. Max served in a variety of roles, including Business Venture Manager, Data Architecture & Operations Manager, Global Planning Manager, Special Projects Manager, Asia Pacific/Russia East Regional Data Support Manager, and Global Services Knowledge Management Tools Manager. In 2021, they joined Studio X as the Program Director of SixLab, an incubator for energy entrepreneurs. During their time at ExxonMobil, Max managed a 30-person team, a 250-person staff in 13 countries, and a $250M operating budget. Max also developed processes for cataloging new data, led the consolidation of data storage facilities, and introduced email content management tools.

Max Gray received a Master of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Hamilton College between 1992 and 1996.
