Matt Barker

Matt Barker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt is currently the Vice President of Creator Relations & Growth Strategy at Studio71, LP, where they are responsible for developing business for YouTube creators. Matt has held multiple roles within the company, including Vice President of Talent Relations & Partnerships and Senior Director of Talent Relations. Prior to their time at Studio71, Matt worked at BroadbandTV (BBTV) as a Talent Partnerships & Content Acquisition Specialist, where they successfully drove 100 Million Monthly impressions. Matt has also served as the Marketing Manager at Purple Pixel.ca, a queer perspective marketing company, and as the Distribution Manager & Content Producer at EQ MAGAZINE, a queer content production company. Earlier in their career, Matt held the position of Brand Director at First Media Group Inc, where they contributed to the production of iOS & Android mobile applications for international dating brands. Matt also has experience in event programming and production, having worked as an Entertainment Programmer at Pride Toronto and as an Executive Assistant at Prism Festival. Overall, Matt has a strong background in talent relations, marketing, content production, and event management.

Matt Barker attended Humber College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Creative Media with a focus in Film, Television, and Radio Arts.
