Julie Beard

Julie Beard has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Julie started their career as a freelance designer at StudioNorth in 2005 and continued to work there until 2019. During their time at StudioNorth, they held various roles, including Senior Art Director and Associate Creative Director. In 2010, Julie also worked as a freelance graphic designer at Paragraphs Design. Julie then joined Russell Design Associates in 2001 as a Senior Graphic Designer for a period of two years. Currently, Julie is an Adjunct Instructor at Chicago Portfolio School, a position they have held since 2021.

Julie Beard completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, starting in 1989 and finishing in 1993. Julie also holds additional certifications, including "Strategies that Build Winning Brands" from Kellogg Executive Education, obtained in June 2023, and "Create a Brand Strategy" from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2022.
