Mark Erdly

Mark Erdly serves as Studio Director and Practice Area Leader of Cities and Urban Design at Gensler since November 2018. Concurrently, Mark has been a Principal at STUDIOS Architecture since October 2015, where prior roles included Managing Principal of the New York office and Principal of the Washington, DC office. Mark's experience includes a tenure as Principal at Cannon Design from April 2005 to September 2015, where responsibilities involved strategy and practice development for the Middle East and India. Prior to that, Mark was Vice President at HNTB, leading the Federal Architecture practice and overseeing key growth with government agencies. Mark also held the position of Project Manager at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), managing large-scale BRAC real estate projects. Mark earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.
