Kate Dekker

Kate Dekker has over a decade of experience in academic services and editing, currently serving as the Academic Services Director and Quality Assurance Manager at Studiosity since April 2009. Kate's work emphasizes creative product development and relationship building with stakeholders to enhance service offerings. In December 2023, Kate began a role as an Academic Editor at MDPI, following a similar position at Capstone Editing from January 2023 to January 2024. Earlier in their career, Kate held various roles at Mission Australia, including Team Leader and Client Manager, where Kate managed team workloads and implemented new workplace practices. Kate's educational background includes a Master of Education from Griffith University (expected completion October 2024), a Bachelor of Arts from Murdoch University, and additional certifications in TEFL/TESOL and workplace training.
