Keith Burnett

Keith Burnett, who earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Oxford, served as Vice-Chancellor at the University of Sheffield from 2007 to 2018. They held the position of Head of the MPLS Division at the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2007. Currently, Burnett is the Chair of the Nuffield Foundation Trustees Board and a Non Executive Director at Study Group. They also serve as the President of the Institute of Physics and Chair Emeritus of the Schmidt Science Fellows at the Rhodes Trust. Additionally, Burnett chaired the Academic Council of Schmidt Science Fellows at Rhodes House until 2023.
