Max Gärdin has a diverse range of work experience. Max started their career as a Clerk/Customer Services at Handelsbanken in 2011. Max then worked as a Centre Manager at EF Education First, where they were responsible for running a summer school in Winchester, England. In 2012, they joined LundaEkonomerna as a Project Manager, where they led a team of master representatives and worked on improving the experience of master students at Lund University.
In 2014, Max Gärdin became a Management Consultant at Lunicore Studentkonsult, specializing in organizational changes and strategic decision-making. Later that year, they joined Studybuddy AB as a Management Trainee, where they gained insights into the tutoring business and helped set up the UK firm. Max then served as the Managing Director of Studybuddy UK, offering personalized one-to-one tuition by top university students.
In 2017, Max Gärdin became the CEO of Studybuddy AB, a private tuition provider in Sweden and the UK. Max interviewed and tested tutors, aiming to offer the best educational services. In 2018, they also became the CEO of Familjo (formerly Aplus Group), a leading service provider in Sweden, focusing on private tutoring, childcare, and cleaning services.
In 2020, Max Gärdin took on their latest role as the CEO of Hey Kiddo, a nanny/babysitting company within the Familjo group. Overall, their work experience spans management, education, consulting, and customer service, demonstrating their diverse skill set and leadership abilities.
Max Gärdin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Management from Lund University in the years 2010 to 2013. Max then pursued further education at Lund University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from 2013 to 2014. Prior to this, Max Gärdin spent an exchange year in Las Vegas at Coronado High School in the year 2007 to 2008.

Studybuddy AB
Studybuddy is the obvious alternative for private tutoring when time, or knowledge of a particular subject, isn’t available at home. Studybuddy brings out the joy when it comes to learning and inspires the students to achieve through active development and progress. Studybuddy helps the pupils with their school subjects, at times and locations which suits our customers the best. Today we offer some schools extra tuition in the form of workshops where the pupils study together outside of their regular schooling; for example additional Maths classes. Studybuddy stands as clear evidence that there is a great need and want for additional private tutoring for pupils. The difference with Studybuddy is that the pupil gets a unique opportunity to learn and get tuition, alone or in a group, where the teacher solely bases the tutoring around each person’s unique needs and learning capacity. Parents today demand private tutoring from schools showing little success - explained by the fact that the schools don’t have the capacity to accommodate this personalised need. This is why Studybuddy exists. We are the extra mile in school education and we are here to meet pupil’s and parents’ need for extra tutoring within a reasonable and accessible price range.
