Alex Youst

Director of Project Management at StudyKIK

Alex Youst has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their professional career as a Playground Leader at South Heidelberg Township in 2008 while also working as a Server at Chili's. In 2010, they became a Lab Assistant in the Sensory Evaluation Center at Penn State University and later served as a Teaching Assistant and Science-U Curriculum Mentor.

In 2011, Alex transitioned to teaching as an Agriculture Teacher at Oley Valley High School. After that, they took on a leadership role as the Director of Manufacturing & Quality Control at Original Philly Cheesesteak Co., where they oversaw two QC Managers and four QC Technicians, ensuring USDA compliance and implementing food safety protocols.

In 2015, Alex joined NATIONAL DELI as a Cost Accountant & Industrial Engineer, responsible for product costing, inventory reconciliations, and pricing models. They then moved to Colorado Premium in 2017 as the Technical Services Manager, focusing on product specifications and labels.

Alex's most recent position is at StudyKIK, where they have progressed through various project management roles. They started as a Project Manager in 2019 before being promoted to Project Director and then Associate Director of Project Management. Currently, Alex holds the position of Director of Project Management at StudyKIK.

Alex Youst attended Conrad Weiser High School from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, Alex went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Agricultural & Extension Education at Penn State University from 2007 to 2011. Following a gap in education, Alex returned to school in 2017 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Walden University, which was completed in 2019.
