Thijs Putman

Thijs Putman is the Co-Founder of Studyportals and has been with the company since April 2007. Thijs served as the Chief Technology Officer for Studyportals until June 2019 and then took on the role of Chief Architect from July 2019 to September 2020. Starting in October 2021, Thijs Putman became the Chief Technology Officer (a.i.) at Thuisleefgroep. In December 2021, they also assumed the position of Director of Product & Engineering (a.i.) at Winc Academy until November 2022. Thijs Putman worked as an Information Technology Strategy Consultant at Webhelp from August 2020 to January 2022. Prior to joining Studyportals, they were the IT Committee Leader at ESTIEM from March 2005 to March 2007. Additionally, Thijs Putman was a Web Designer at NedStars B.V. from February 2004 to September 2006. Most recently, they have become an Advisor at Purple Squirrel Effect starting in June 2022.

Thijs Putman attended Eindhoven University of Technology from 2002 to 2007, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Information Systems from the same university, which they completed from 2007 to 2010.
