Mike Mather

Mike Mather is a senior journalist at Waikato Times/Stuff.co.nz, bringing 28 years of experience from various regional and community newspapers and magazines. Previously, Mike worked as a chief reporter and news editor at Whakatane Beacon, a reporter at The Daily Post, and held editorial roles at Box Office Magazines. In their current position, Mike primarily covers court activities and arts and entertainment while also engaging in extensive interviews and reporting on diverse events. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Film and Television Studies from the University of Waikato and a Diploma in Journalism from Massey University.
