Sturdell was formed in 1986 with the objective to better serve the specialty steel plate market - specifically to offer more "Value Added Services"​ to the Custom Mold Plate and Stamping Die markets in North America. Sturdell prides itself on being the "First Ones Back"​ on all quotes and inquiries. In addition, Sturdell strives to lead the industry in delivery on "Value Added Services"​ performed at our facility. These services include: Gun Drilled Waterlines (including counterbores and taps), Chamfers, Lift Holes, Clamp Slots & Rough Pocketing.
