Abood B.

Abood B. has a diverse range of work experience. In 2015, they served as the Manager of Alba Hills Guesthouse, where they successfully increased sales and obtained a rating of 8.7 from Booking.com. Abood also worked as a Sales Assistant and Team Coach at Next Ltd from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they developed leadership skills and contributed to the growth of the staff. Abood B. was a Marketing Researcher at Ipsos MORI in early 2018 and also worked briefly as an Assistant Photographer for Al Jazeera Media Network in the same year. Abood then joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Customer Service Assistant from February to May 2021. Most recently, Abood B. worked as a Passenger Service Agent at Worldwide Flight Services from May 2019 to October 2021. Abood is currently serving as a Finance Administration Assistant at STV Group plc since April 2022.

Abood B. started their education journey at Liberton High School from 2010 to 2016, where they pursued National Scottish Highers. Following this, from 2016 to 2017, they attended Edinburgh College and obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering. Moving forward, Abood B. enrolled at Queen Margaret University from 2017 to 2021, completing their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Management with a specialization in Finance. In 2020, they also obtained certifications in "The Science of Well-Being" through Coursera and "Suicide Prevention Training" from the Zero Suicide Alliance. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance with CIMA at Queen Margaret University.
