Caroline Muir

Caroline Muir has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Caroline began their career in 2002 as a Senior Secretary at Murgitroyd & Co, where they worked until 2005. Following that, they joined SMG as a Personal Assistant to the head of Finance and eventually progressed to become the PA to the Acting Chief Executive. Their responsibilities included diary management, meeting minutes, and preparing board reports. Caroline then joined STV Group plc in 2007 as a PA to the Head of News. In this role, they successfully managed the fast-paced demands of the department, working on various high-profile events such as elections and referendums. Their contributions involved event planning and coordinating live shows. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of News Organiser and PA to the Head of News, further expanding their responsibilities. Currently, Caroline holds the position of Editorial Resources Lead at STV Group plc, starting in January 2022.

Caroline Muir attended Jordanhill School from 1983 to 1996. Caroline did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time there. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they enrolled in The Glasgow School of Art, where they obtained a BA Hons in Fine Art with a focus on Sculpture.
