David Milne has a strong background in journalism and digital media. David started their career in 1998 as the News Editor at the Sunday Herald, where they played a key role in the successful launch of the national newspaper. David then moved on to become the Assistant Editor at the Sunday Herald and later the Deputy Editor at the Herald and Times Group.
In 2004, David joined the Herald and Times Group as the Group Digital Editor, where they successfully planned and launched heraldscotland.com, an online news and information brand targeting the Scottish market. David also held the role of Executive Editor at STV Local before becoming the Head of Digital and Cross Platform at STV Group plc in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for developing leading digital products and editorial strategies, as well as driving audience engagement for STV News projects.
Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a passion for journalism and a forward-thinking approach to digital media. David'sexperiences have equipped him with a strong understanding of the industry and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and audience preferences.
David Milne attended the University of Dundee from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Politics.
