David Mortimer

David Mortimer has worked in the television industry for over 20 years. David began their career as a production assistant and has since worked their way up to managing director. David is currently the managing director of STV Studios, a production company under the STV Group.

Mortimer has held various positions at different companies throughout their career. David was the director of content at Tinopolis from January 2017 to November 2018. There, they were responsible for the group's overall production strategy, creative direction and performance, working across the portfolio of production companies both in the UK and the US. Prior to that, they were the SVP factual & entertainment at NBCUniversal Media LLC from May 2013 to January 2017. In that role, they oversaw NBCUniversal's international unscripted production companies, specializing in factual and entertainment programming. David also had management responsibility for a group of companies in the UK, Australia and Canada.

From April 2006 to May 2013, Mortimer was the managing director of Fever Media. During their time there, they oversaw the production of various television shows and helped the company grow significantly.

Mortimer has been instrumental in the success of many television shows throughout their career. Some of their most notable accomplishments include winning numerous commissions for new shows and existing NBC formats in key territories including the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, France and Germany. David has also helped restore many landmarks in Britain.

David Mortimer completed a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Essex.

Their manager is Simon Pitts, Chief Executive & Board Member. They work with Peter Reilly - Commercial Director, Helen Arnot - Legal Director, and Suzanne Burns - HR and Communications Director.
