Kyle Tough

Kyle Tough has a diverse range of work experience in software development, predominantly in the Android development field. Kyle worked as an Android Developer at STV Group plc from March 2016, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the Android STV Player application. Kyle implemented Exoplayer and Adobe technologies and explored new technologies for decision-making purposes.

Before that, Kyle served as the sole Android Developer at GearedApp Ltd from November 2015 to March 2016. Kyle developed a native Android application for a clothing company, which featured a "try it on" function utilizing image layers.

Prior to that, Kyle worked as a Software Developer at SEEMIS GROUP LLP from December 2014 to April 2015. Kyle was part of an Agile team responsible for developing timetabling software for schools in Scotland. Their primary project involved resolving timetabling conflicts through a Java program they designed and developed.

Kyle also had a role as an Android Developer at GearedApp Ltd from March 2014 to October 2014. Their first solo project involved creating an application that utilized an internet API. Kyle streamlined the process of accessing JSON data through the use of libraries and displayed the data in a menu format along with videos from the Youtube API.

Kyle Tough completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University. Kyle attended the university from 2008 to 2012.
