Magnus Joss

Magnus Joss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. 📸 Magnus started their career in 2011 as a Shop Assistant at the British Red Cross, where they handled donations, stocked shelves, and assisted customers.

In 2012, Magnus worked as an Independent Distributor at Betterware, delivering catalogs, collecting orders, and handling money transactions.

📸 Magnus then joined Forth Boat Tours in 2013 as a Ticket Seller, where they provided information and sold tickets to customers, handled cash transactions, and ensured the smooth operation of the tour buses.

From 2014 to 2015, Magnus worked at UNC Asheville as a Night Desk Assistant and later as a Student Media Director. In these roles, they conducted research, created tutorials and guides, edited recorded lectures, and managed multimedia production.

In 2015, Magnus worked as a Video Production Intern at JB Media Group, gaining experience in video production. Later that year, they started freelancing in 3D, animation, photography, and videography.

In 2016, Magnus took a Summer Internship at Edinburgh Napier University, where they worked on a 3D visualization research project.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Supervisor and Front of House staff at The Old Post Office in Linlithgow, responsible for managing shifts, handling complaints, and providing customer service.

Currently, Magnus is working as a Graphic Designer at STV Group plc.

Magnus Joss attended Linlithgow Academy from 2006 to 2012, where they pursued Standard Grade/Higher/Advanced Higher studies. In 2012, they enrolled at Edinburgh Napier University and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with First Class Honours in Digital Media in 2016. As an international exchange student, Magnus also spent a year at the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2014-2015, specializing in New Media.
