Martel Maxwell

Martel Maxwell is a highly experienced voice over artist and television presenter, currently working with STV Group plc as a narrator for the BBC Scotland documentary Inside Central Station since October 2021, and presenting Homes Under The Hammer for the BBC since April 2017. Maxwell’s freelance career began in September 2014, encompassing a wide range of voice over projects, including contributions to BBC1 and ITV1 programs. Additionally, Martel Maxwell has served as a columnist for the Dundee Evening Telegraph since August 2013 and runs Martel Maxwell Associates Ltd, focusing on presenting, writing, and event hosting since January 2007. Previous roles include a showbiz reporter for ITV's Lorraine and a journalist for News International. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Edinburgh and a PG Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from City St George's, University of London.
