Hari Gopalakrishna has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Hari started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 2001, working as a FileNet Administrator until 2004. After that, they joined Datamatics Global Services as a FileNet Administrator/Developer for a year and a half.

In 2005, Hari moved to Commerce Bank, where they worked as a FileNet Administrator/Architect, implementing a self-servicing online application called "Cover Sheet Express" that integrated with FileNet Panagon Capture for database-based lookup and auto-indexing.

From 2006 to 2008, Hari worked at KeyBank as a FileNet Architect. Then they moved to OppenheimerFunds, where they held various roles. Hari first served as a Senior ECM Architect, leading the transformation of the FileNet Center of Excellence team into an ECM center of excellence. Hari also worked as a Lead Solutions Technologist, involved in rewriting Grails application's scaffolding screens using Angular and implementing enterprise search.

In 2016, Hari co-founded and became the Chief Technology Officer of Complia | Compliance Software. Hari played a key role in bootstrapping the business from scratch, developing a scalable SaaS technology platform, building a talented distributed team, and achieving profitability in the government technology space. Hari was actively involved in business development efforts, including responding to RFI/RFPs, building product roadmaps, meeting clients, and delivering solutions within aggressive timelines.

In 2019, Hari joined NIC Inc. as the Senior Director of Technology, responsible for continuing the roles of Complia post-acquisition and integrating it with NIC. Hari also served as the Senior Director of Product Development, working closely with the executive team to expand the product footprint and establish a strategy.

Hari's most recent position is as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at STX, a role they started in July 2021.

Hari Gopalakrishna's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at Loyola College. Hari pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics and completed their studies in 2000. Following this, they attended Bharathidasan University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Applications. Finally, in 2014 and 2015, Hari attended the Founder Institute in Denver, where they received a Founder degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
