Robert Simmons is an experienced software engineer and architect with a wide range of skills and expertise. Robert has served in various roles throughout their career, including VP of Engineering at STX and Founder of Xsiom, Inc. At Bridge Connector, they worked as a Principal Software Architect, leading a team in the development of a high-volume, zero-failure application in Elixir. As the Chief Technology Officer at SimpleBet, they were responsible for building an IT team and creating an automated sports betting pricing platform using machine learning and AI. Robert also worked as a Principal Software Architect at The Stars Group, where they coordinated the development and deployment of software products for the sports betting industry. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Java Architect at Electronic Arts and held senior software engineering roles at various companies such as KraythenSoft LLC, MOSORO Inc., Location Insight, and Mocapay. Robert Simmons has a strong educational background in computer science and information technology. From 2004 to 2008, they pursued a Masters of Science in Information Technology at the University of Liverpool, where they specialized in computer science and information technology. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, they attended the University of Iowa, studying computer science. Additionally, from 1991 to 1994, they obtained an education from the University of Northern Iowa, where they focused on computer science and also pursued a minor in Italian.
