Style Lawyer is where Canada’s creative agencies turn when they need legal support that fits their business—not the other way around.

I’m Marty Finestone, a business lawyer and legal designer. I created Style Lawyer to help creative agencies get clear, strategic legal advice that’s right-sized for your stage, your size, and your style of working.

Whether you're running a design studio, marketing team, content production company, or dev shop, Style Lawyer exists to make the business side of creative smoother, stronger, and less stressful.

What I do:
🟣 Work with you as a legal teammate—not just a service provider
🟣 Help your agency scale smoothly, without legal friction
🟣 Offer practical legal advice tailored to your size, stage, and goals
🟣 Help you understand the legal aspects of your business and growth plans
🟣 Show you how to improve client relationships through better contracts
🟣 Provide flat-fee and subscription-based support for ongoing peace of mind

You’re building a creative business. I help you protect it, scale it, and run it with more confidence.

Style Lawyer is:
✔️ Strategic, not stuffy
✔️ Built for creative work, not built on billable hours
✔️ Pro-business and relationship-driven
✔️ Based in Waterloo, working with creative agencies across Canada
