Stylex
Brandon Walker is a Senior Designer at Stylex Seating, Inc. since October 2014, focusing on new product design and improving existing products, while also enhancing manufacturing processes through research and material exploration. In addition, Brandon has maintained a freelance practice as a designer and artist at BSW Art/Design since June 2014, creating works that celebrate everyday moments and the history within objects. Previous experience includes serving as a Teacher's Assistant at the Rhode Island School of Design, aiding in CNC technologies and project critiques, and managing the Rapid Prototyping Studio at California College of the Arts, where support was provided to students in digital fabrication. Earlier experience includes working as an Architectural Model Builder for Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP, engaging in model creation for various design projects. Brandon holds a Master of Fine Arts in Furniture Design and Manufacturing from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
