Eric J. Kao

Eric J. Kao has a long and varied work experience. From 2006 to 2021, they have held various roles in different companies. In 2006, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. In 2007, they were a Summer Analyst at TD Securities. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Research & Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. In 2011, they were an Equity Research Intern at Bailard, Inc. From 2015 to 2021, they were an Engineering Manager and a Sr Member of Technical Staff at VMware. Currently, they are a Technical Education Lead at Styra.

Eric J. Kao holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
