Subarna Bhumi Foundation (SBF) was established in November 2018 with the goal of supporting disadvantaged people, including children, young people, and women throughout Bangladesh. SBF envisions a society where women, children, and youth are empowered to bring about positive changes, protecting their rights to survival, development, and participation. The core programs of the Subarna Bhumi Foundation include Education, Youth Development, Community Development, women empowerment, and Climate Change Adaptation. The Education Program includes sponsorships, assistance to community-run schools, health, hygiene, and nutrition education, income generation for school sustainability, creating child-friendly environments for street children, and daycare for underprivileged working mothers. The Youth Development program empowers young people through educational sponsorships, skill development initiatives, ethical awareness, and leadership training. The program supports entrepreneurship and encourages volunteerism to foster innovation and social responsibility. Community Development Program addresses key community needs such as water and sanitation improvements, organic agriculture promotion, and resilience-building projects to adapt to climate change. SBF is also involved in climate change adaptation, assisting communities in adopting sustainable practices like eco-friendly agriculture and water conservation to build resilience against climate-related challenges.
