Subatron is a Swiss deep-tech dual-use startup developing a next-generation wireless underwater communication system based on ultrasonic technology.

Current underwater communication solutions are often limited by low data rates, short range, or unreliable performance in complex environments. Subatron addresses these challenges by combining:

• Long-range communication
• High and stable data throughput
• Wireless and omnidirectional operation
• Reliable performance in real-world conditions

Our technology enables applications across both civil and security-related use cases, including:

• Search & rescue operations
• Infrastructure inspection (e.g. hydropower, pipelines)
• Environmental monitoring
• Underwater robotics and sensor networks

Subatron follows a dual-use approach, supporting both industrial and public safety applications, with long-term potential in security and defense contexts.
