Chris Barnett

Chris Barnett has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Their most recent position was at SubCom, where they served as the Managing Director for Test, Training, Field Support, and Network Operations. Prior to that, they worked at TE Connectivity SubCom for 20 years, holding the role of Senior Director for System Test and Customer Training. Before joining TE Connectivity SubCom, Chris worked at Lucent Technologies as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Optical Networks division. Their career began at AT&T Bell Labs, where they held the position of Principle Member Technical Staff. Chris also worked at AT&T Reading Works as a Senior Test Engineer for Optical Components.

Chris Barnett attended Penn State University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Chris then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering Science from 1984 to 1988 at the same university.
