David J. Urban

David J. Urban serves as Managing Director at BGR Group since April 2022 and holds the position of Of Counsel at Torridon Law PLLC since June 2024. Urban has been a Senior Advisor at Gothams since January 2022 and is a Senior Political Contributor at CNN. In addition, Urban serves on the board of Virtu Financial, Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., and SubCom. Recently, Urban joined Coinbase as a Global Advisory Council Member and has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. Urban's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Public Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania, a Doctor of Law from Temple University, and ongoing studies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and Florida Atlantic University.
