Derek Kane is a highly experienced professional in the field of optical communications and signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Communications System Scientist and Optical Communications Modeler at SubCom since June 2023, Derek has a substantial background in research and development, having held the position of Principal R&D Engineer at DEKA Research & Development from October 2000 to May 2023.
