Kyle Buser

Kyle Buser is a Marine Engineering graduate from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, with a diverse background in maritime operations and engineering roles. Currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at SubCom since September 2023, Buser's previous experiences include positions such as Regimental Commander at the United States Merchant Marine Academy and various internships with organizations like Detyens Shipyards, Inc., Military Sealift Command, and National Grid. Buser's hands-on experience on vessels includes conducting replenishment operations and performing engine room maintenance. Additionally, engineering training was complemented by earlier roles as an intern in ship brokering and as a deckhand in charter fishing.
