Lara Garrett

Lara Garrett is an experienced professional in the field of electrical and communications engineering, currently serving as the Director of Product Line Management at SubCom since January 2018. With a career spanning over two decades, Lara held various significant roles including Director of System Engineering at SubCom (previously TE Connectivity) and fiber optic components/systems engineer at Tyco Telecommunications. Additionally, Lara was Principal Optical Architect at Celion Networks and contributed to long haul fiber optic transmission research at both AT&T Research and AT&T Labs. Lara earned multiple degrees in electrical engineering, including a Doctor of Science and Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MSEE from the University of Delaware and a BSEE from Texas A&M University.
