Lisa Buffitt currently serves as a Program Administrator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, supporting the Oceanographic Systems Laboratory in the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for scientific and governmental applications. Concurrently, Lisa is a Project Coordinator at Subsea Technology and holds a long-standing role as Director of Americas Sales and Director of Marine Estimates and Proposals at SubCom. Prior experience includes managerial positions in cable route surveying at TE SubCom from 1999 to 2007. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Mount Holyoke College and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Idaho, along with non-matriculated studies at the Sea Education Association.
