Sara Baxter

Sara Baxter has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sara currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at SubCom, a role they assumed in 2023. Prior to this, Sara was a Founding Member at Chief, a position they held since 2019.

Between 2020 and 2023, Sara worked at Anaplan, where they had two roles. Sara started as the Senior Vice President Strategic Growth & Global CFO|CXO Advisory Practice Lead, leading the company's strategic growth organization and global thought leadership. After that, they became the SVP & Global Head, CFO Practice.

Before joining Anaplan, Sara held various positions at Verizon, starting in 2000. Sara served as the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President for Verizon Business Group, overseeing a $30B+ portfolio. Prior to that, they were the CFO & Senior Vice President of Finance for Verizon Wireline, responsible for managing four complex wireline business units. Sara also held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance Operations (Order to Cash) and Vice President and Midwest Division CFO for Verizon Wireless. Earlier in their career, they held several director-level roles in financial analysis and pricing at Verizon.

Throughout their career, Sara has demonstrated a strong financial acumen, strategic leadership, and a focus on driving growth and innovation.

Sara Baxter holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Economics from UC San Diego. Sara also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting from National University. Additionally, Sara has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from New Jersey.
