Thomas Kuypers is an accomplished Cable Engineer with extensive experience in subsea cable installation and management. Currently employed at SubCom since April 2017, Thomas has previously held key positions including On-Site Operations Manager for Quintillion Sub Sea Cable System at Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks and Offshore Installation Manager at CT OFFSHORE, where responsibilities included daily planning and coordination of trenching and cable laying operations. Earlier roles encompass surveying and project management positions with a focus on telecommunications and windfarm cable projects at companies such as NCS Survey Limited, Nordic Offshore A/S, and Alcatel Submarine Networks. Thomas earned a degree in Science with a concentration in Geology and Geography from the University of Alberta and attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology for further education.
