Tom Wilkie

Tom Wilkie is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in technical support and engineering roles across various companies in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at SubCom since October 2018, Tom has previously held similar distinguished positions at TE Connectivity, Tyco Telecommunications (now TE SubCom), and Tycom. Prior to these roles, Tom worked at Ciena Corp. as a Principal Engineer and held engineering positions at Internet Photonics and TYCO Submarine Systems LTD. The career began at AT&T in 1984, where Tom gained valuable experience as both an engineer and a test engineer. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.
