Kiyoshi Shelton

Kiyoshi Shelton is a seasoned music teacher and voice coach, self-employed since March 2018, specializing in vocal empowerment for diverse clients, including CEOs and musicians, and has developed online courses benefiting over 300 students. Previously, Kiyoshi served as the Community Engagement Manager for the YBMen Project at the University of Michigan School of Social Work from March 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included mobilizing coalition organizations for the mental health support of nearly 400 young Black men and boys. Earlier experience includes roles as Admissions Operations Coordinator at Bridgepoint Education, Admissions Counselor at Ashford University, and Pulmonary Laboratory Technician at the University of Michigan Health System. Kiyoshi Shelton holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
