Ian Thiel

Ian Thiel has a diverse range of work experience. Ian co-founded Sublime Security in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Alto Pharmacy as the Head of Customer Growth from 2016 to 2018, where they played a key role in growing revenue from $8M to $80M ARR in 2 years. Before that, they held various roles at Optimizely, including Head of New Products, Head of Mobile, Enterprise Account Executive, Account Executive, and Sales Development Representative. During their time at Optimizely, they launched new products, achieved significant revenue growth, closed deals with major clients, and built and led teams. Ian also worked as an Executive Producer at HOMHOMHOM from 2014 to 2016, and as an Associate at Space Angels Network from 2012 to 2014, where they connected angel investors in aerospace with companies raising funds. Additionally, Ian co-founded OneKey Ventures in 2011, representing billions of dollars in assets, and co-founded Enter The Club in 2011. Ian began their career as a Market Strategy Intern at Pixiant in 2010.

Ian Thiel holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree summa cum laude in Management, Global Entrepreneurship from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Ian earned this degree from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Ian obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree cum laude in Economics and Mathematics from York College of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2017, Ian also completed the Growth Series program at Reforge, although they did not receive a degree for this particular program.
