Sean Leonard

Sean Leonard has over 30 years of experience in the music and technology industry. Sean began their career in 1988 as a Studio Engineer at Windmill Lane Studios. In 1998, they joined eMusic as a Senior Director of Creative Development and was a founding member of the team. Sean was responsible for securing exclusive content licenses from established record labels and artists, building strategic relationships within the emerging music technology communities and recommending target acquisitions. In 2004, they became the Vice President of Digital at TouchMedia (USA). Sean was responsible for defining and implementing the company's digital media strategies across its music technology and services divisions. In 2008, they became an Advisor for Giveback and Co-Founder and Head of Strategy for Pypeline. Sean was also a member of the Steering Committee for CME in 2010 and was elected to Chair the Marketing Committee for two terms. Since 2013, they have been the Executive Vice President at SubPac, providing international consulting and advisory services to participants in all aspects of the music and technology value chain.
