Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee has over 10 years of work experience, beginning with their original research and fieldwork in Ghana, West Africa in 2011. In 2013, they began working as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, receiving a direct promotion offer to a post-MBA Consultant position. Michelle declined the offer to explore early-stage Education Tech. From 2015 to 2019, they were one of the first 10 employees at Freckle Education (formerly Front Row), where they served as BizOps & Marketing (Growth, Lifecycle & Community). In 2019, they were an MBA Summer Intern at Act III Holdings, LLC, and received a return offer for a full-time role at Life Alive Cafes. In 2020, they became the Chief of Staff, Marketing at Greenlight Financial Technology. Currently, they are a Founding Team, Head of Ops at Subscript, where their beta is now live.

Michelle Lee completed their Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography (International Development) at Dartmouth College from 2009 to 2013. In 2010, they attended Beijing Normal University to study Chinese Language and Culture. In 2011, they studied African Political Economy and Development Studies at the University of Ghana. In 2018, they earned their Master of Business Administration - MBA from Harvard Business School.
