Alan Gorham

Alan Gorham is a seasoned communications professional with over 25 years of experience in media, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as the Group External Communications Manager at Subsea7 since July 2024, Alan previously held the position of Communication Senior Advisor at Storegga from November 2022 to July 2024. Prior to that, Alan was the Emergency Response & Media Relations Lead at BIG Partnership, spearheading crisis communications and reputation management in the energy sector in Aberdeen. Alan’s journalism roots include significant roles at Aberdeen Journals, The Press and Journal, and The Deeside Piper and Herald, contributing to comprehensive coverage and editorial processes in the region. Alan holds an NVQ in Journalism with Public Affairs and completed training through Squared Online in 2017.
