David Labbé

David Labbé is an accomplished naval architect and engineering manager with extensive experience in the marine and oil and gas sectors. David's career began at the Offshore Engineering Department of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro as a Research Assistant, followed by significant roles at Houlder Limited, where project management skills were honed. David's tenure at Subsea 7 included positions as Strategy Manager, Business Development Manager, and Project Engineering Manager, leading engineering initiatives for major offshore projects. Currently serving as Sales & Marketing Director for Africa at Subsea 7, David also held the role of Engineering Manager at Subsea Group AS, overseeing teams in both the UK and Norway. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics and an MEng in Ship Science from the University of Southampton.
