Kevan Smith

Kevan Smith has over three decades of experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Deputy DPA & CSO at Subsea 7 since November 2011, where responsibilities include advising on marine issues and maintaining the fleet Safety Management System. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Surveyor at GL Noble Denton, focusing on marine assurance inspections and incident investigations, and as a Deck Officer with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, gaining expertise in tanker and cargo operations. Additional roles include Navigation Officer with P&O Ferries and various positions in the British Army, including Seaman and Lighterman. Kevan holds an HND in Nautical Science from Warsash Maritime Academy, achieved in 2007.
