Mark Avent

Mark Avent has extensive experience in engineering leadership within the offshore energy sector. Currently serving as VP Engineering at Subsea7 since November 2008, Mark leads a diverse team of over 1000 professionals across multiple global locations to successfully execute offshore projects. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Engineering Director at KBR from 2005 to 2008, managing a team of more than 70 engineers focused on marine, subsea, and pipeline projects. Mark Avent earned a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Staffordshire between 1985 and 1989.
