Peter Gray

Peter Gray has extensive legal and advisory experience spanning multiple decades, with a notable role as Non Executive Director at Subsea7 since 2005, including previous affiliations with Acergy and Stolt Offshore. Peter specialized in energy and project financing as a Partner at Clyde & Co LLP and Shadbolt LLP from 2004 to 2014. Involvement with the Office of the PPP Arbiter from 2003 to 2010 included regulatory oversight of the London Underground PPP. Prior experience includes serving as Senior State Counsel in the Government of Kenya, where Peter played a crucial role in legislative drafting and negotiations with international oil companies, as well as a significant judicial role as a Resident Magistrate. Early legal career began as an Articled Clerk and Assistant Solicitor at Clayton & Co. Educational qualifications include an LLB degree from the University of Manchester and completion of Part II finals at the College of Law, Guildford.
