Rock Gu

Rock Gu has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they completed a Summer Internship as a Small Game Developer for KiDiSMS. In 2018, they completed a Summer Internship as a Student Back-end Developer for Celestica, as well as a Fall Internship as a Software Developer for Arup. In 2019, they completed a Full Stack Developer Internship for DemandHub. In 2020, they began working as a Software Developer for EllisDon, where they implemented, released, and maintained a responsive dashboard application in React for large-scale project and corporation intelligence visualization and navigation. Rock also designed and implemented document process automation and workflow mapper in React, MongoDB, integrated to existing document building applications, and implemented a responsive and customizable homepage with draggable widgets in React with user preference storage. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Subskribe.

Rock Gu attended Erindale Secondary School from 2011 to 2015, where they completed their second year of study in Art/Art Studies, General. In 2015, they began attending McMaster University, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering.
