Angie Mizzell

Angie Mizzell is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in media and storytelling. Currently an author at Publish Her, Angie wrote the coming-of-age memoir "Girl in the Spotlight" and also contributes to a weekly newsletter, Hello Friday, on Substack. Previous roles include investigative reporter at WCBD-TV and anchor/reporter at WCSC-TV, along with directing and producing the Listen To Your Mother Show in Charleston, a national series of live staged readings. Angie has held various positions in television, including spokesperson roles for MUSC Health and the Southeastern Spine Institute, and has written columns for Skirt! Magazine and Lowcountry Parent Magazine. Angie co-owned Flair Events and Marketing, providing business management and promotional services for public events. Angie holds a degree from the University of South Carolina.
